After you have your ideal shed customized to meet your needs we will send an invoice to collect the 50% deposit that is required for reserving your build. Whichever way you choose we strive to make your buying experience as effortless as possible.

Since we build on-site and to order, there are no added fees if you want to move locations of doors and windows. If you don’t see an option that you would like just let us know and we’ll quote it.

We carefully select premium types of building materials and we inspect every individual item we use to build your shed. When assembled as a complete shed, the types of materials we use ensure your shed will look great, last a long time, and require little to no maintenance on your part.

Please be sure to compare the exact materials we build our sheds with versus other sheds for sale. When new, many materials will look similar, but the cheaper materials will rot out much faster and require ongoing maintenance such as staining and painting. You will find that our sheds are a much better value because our prices are typically lower and yet the materials we use are higher quality. We can offer this value because we only build on-site. So, we have no middlemen, no factories, or sales lots that you have to pay for.

We arrive in a truck and an enclosed trailer. Employees will be wearing branded Effortless Shed clothing. We’ll introduce ourselves and confirm parking. Next we review property specifics with you. We confirm the shed location, nail the first 4 boards together, place them where the shed will go, and then have you confirm the final placement of the shed. Once you approve the location we complete the build. After the build is finished we’ll show you how to operate the doors and windows, and answer any questions. Typically we send your final invoice the next morning. Note: You do not need to be at the site for us to complete the work. If you have this type of situation all that we ask of you is to let us know in advance and have the location clearly staked or marked out.

Our pricing includes our standard version of site-prep and taxes. This is how we would want to shop and we are glad to offer you the same experience we would want to have. There are no extra fees like site prep, delivery, installation, etc.

It typically takes us 1 or 2 days depending on your shed size, options selected and daylight hours available. The walking distance and elevation between the build and our truck and or trailer can also increase or decrease the time it takes.

No. We ask that you stake the exact shed location. We will take care of the rest.

No. As a precautionary measure we no longer use your exterior electricity. This eliminates any risk of losing power to important items in your home due to a breaker tripping. We come prepared with food and water, so no worries there either. Lastly we travel with a private camping restroom inside of our trailer, so no worries there either.

Yes. You can select this as an option on our website in the cost form, or just let us know however you decide to contact us and we will quote it. Our demolition service is turn key and includes demolition, clean up, and everything taken to the dump. We can hand carry the shed through narrow walkways and up and down steep elevations. If the carry distance is far and your property allows for it we use a zero turn lawn mower and ice fishing sleds to move pieces of the shed to our trailer without damaging your lawn. Please know that this service is only available if you are also buying a replacement shed.

No. We do not purchase kits and install them. We buy and hand pick all of our materials. We pre-cut most boards, and assemble doors and trusses prior to arriving at your location.
